Second Conference of the SOCOTALENT Program of the SOCOTEC Chair at the University of Zaragoza: Support and Networking for Engineering and Sustainability Students
Continuing with the SOCOTALENT program started on April 24, the second session was held on Tuesday, July 4.
This session had a more practical approach and was led by Martí Riera, director of sustainability at SOCOTEC, who presented a success story made by the company SOCOTEC, a multinational company dedicated to consulting and engineering, which has offices in Spain. Subsequently, the students were able to present their work and raise doubts related to it, which facilitated a collaborative learning environment.

José Ramón Beltrán, director of the SOCOTEC Chair, and professor at the University of Zaragoza, and Sergio Gracia, head of sustainability business development at SOCOTEC, also participated in the conference.
Martí Riera, as an expert in architecture, building and sustainability, played a crucial role in providing support to students, encouraging them to improve their final projects for both master's and bachelor's degrees. The presence and advice of these professionals allowed students to deepen their knowledge and receive valuable feedback that can contribute significantly to the success of their academic projects.

In addition, the students of the SOCOTALENT program will be part of the applicants for the II edition of the SOCOTEC Chair Awards, which will take place on October 2, 2024.
