SOCOTEC is starting monitoring work on environmental flows
The Catalan Water Agency (ACA) has awarded SOCOTEC the contract to monitor the set-up of environmental flows and to adjust the flows for future planning cycles in the water catchment areas within Catalonia.
The Catalan Water Agency (ACA) has awarded SOCOTEC Lot 2 of the “Technical assistance to prepare the drafting of the management plan and the action plan for the third cycle of hydrological planning: Monitoring the set-up of environmental flows and adjustment of the flows for future planning cycles.”
The two-pronged project will involve both updating the technical studies used to identify the water regime for environmental flows in the catchment areas within Catalonia and monitoring the effects of the environmental flows set up thus far. The project will comprise the following phases:
