From March 24th to 28th, SOCOTEC celebrated Learning Week, an initiative aimed at boosting the continuous training of our team and strengthening their skills in engineering solutions.

The central theme of Learning Week 2025 was the application of AI in our daily work as 360 engineering, exploring how this technology can enhance both our professional performance and our personal development

Practical Training on BlueGen, SOCOTEC's AI

To maximize the use of BlueGen, SOCOTEC's generative AI personal assistant with multiple functionalities, Paul Delage, Data Scientist AI & ML Engineer, led multi-level sessions. These sessions focused on the practical use of AI to automate processes, optimize tasks, and improve efficiency in the workplace.

Introduction to the Practical Use of AI in Architecture

To explore the wide range of possibilities of AI, we invited Carles Farré, AI consultant at AECOTECH, who offered an introductory course on the practical use of Artificial Intelligence in our sector, covering architecture, engineering, and quality control, through examples of cases based on LLM, RAG, and agents.

Communication and Personal Branding Training

In the area of interpersonal skills, the marketing and communication department, represented by Marta León, offered a workshop on how to build a personal brand, create engaging content, and increase the impact of interactions on LinkedIn.

Personal Development Training

The Director of Human Resources, Jordi Roig, presented a session on how to develop an individual development plan to refine skills and advance in one's professional career, integrating AI into various areas of daily work and providing resources tailored to individual needs and aspirations.

 

Learning Week was a very valuable opportunity for our team. We had the privilege of learning from internal and external experts, which allowed us to acquire new perspectives and improve both our technical and interpersonal skills
