Socotec ups the ante on tank floor inspection safety and reliability
SOCOTEC, a leading inspection, certification, and testing firm, has acquired new Tank Floor Scanners to improve the safety and reliability of its tank floor inspections.
These scanners use magnetic flux leakage (MFL) technology to detect defects in tank floors.
To ensure proper use of the scanners, members of SOCOTEC's inspection laboratory team traveled to MFE Enterprises in Austin, Texas, for an immersive training program that included both theoretical and practical classes, as well as working sessions with other international professionals
