Project details

We are carrying out quality control and welding inspection services during the manufacturing process of wind turbine towers. The work is being carried out at the client's premises over three shifts.

The work includes the entire construction phase of the towers, from the preparation and bending of the steel sheets, assembly and dimensional control, welding and weld finishing and non-destructive testing (NDT). All work is carried out by personnel qualified at Level II in different methods according to UNE EN ISO 9712 and supervised by a Level III technician qualified according to UNE EN ISO 9712.

The aim is to guarantee the proper execution and finish of the products in line with the quality standards set by the end customer, our work being subject to audited control by both our customer and the end user of the products.

The non-destructive testing methodologies used are

  • Visual Testing,
  • Magnetic Testing,
  • Dye Penetrant Testing,
  • Ultrasonic Testing,
  • Ultrasonic Testing Phased Array,
  • Dimensional control.

All documentation and inspection results reports are entered using a digital tablet integrated into the factory's internal system, delivering speed and flexibility to our client's construction process.
