With an investment of 62,155 million pesos, the National Government reopened the El Embrujo airport in Providencia. The infrastructure project at El Embrujo airport was in charge of the Civil Aeronautics, which invested 62,155 million pesos to expand the air terminal's platform and build a new passenger terminal after the damages caused by Hurricane Iota in 2020. The works included the expansion of 3,887 m² of the apron and the construction of the new passenger terminal, which will increase the airport's parking space from two to five. The airport will now be able to handle 144 people per hour, which represents between 50,000 and 90,000 per year, who will have adequate facilities for the service.
