SOCOTEC's expertise at the Sustainable Building Congress
In addition, as a 360º Engineering, SOCOTEC will participate in several presentations within the Sustainable Building Congress, which will be held in the same pavilion during the fair. In particular, on May 21 at 12:00 pm, Antonio Sánchez, Director of Cities and Building at SOCOTEC's Madrid Office, will give a talk entitled "Industrialized Construction for the Development of Large-Scale Affordable Housing: The VIVE Plan". This talk will highlight SOCOTEC's experience in the Plan VIVE project of the Community of Madrid, which seeks to innovate in construction through industrialization techniques, shortening execution times by 30% and improving the carbon footprint.
During the Sustainable Building Congress, Jordi Rosich, General Director of Civil Works and Innovation at SOCOTEC, will present a paper on "Analysis and Reduction of the Carbon Footprint in Urban Works", focused on the renovation of the Rambla Modolell in Viladecans, highlighted for its focus on sustainable construction systems.
